“This important review not only shines a light on many pre-existing inequalities.”

“This important review not only shines a light on many pre-existing inequalities – it also shows how Covid-19’s impact has made those inequalities more pronounced.

“The higher risks for those living in deprived areas and from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic backgrounds are unacceptable and must prompt urgent action.

Residents

“Since the start of the pandemic, boroughs have worked closely with residents to provide local support and help meet the specific needs of London’s diverse population.

“We are determined to build a healthier, fairer London – but we now need a clear policy focus from the government on reducing inequality, promoting public health, and boosting the resilience of all communities.”
