ANNA MAE Bullock, who rose to fame as Tina Turner, has died following a long illness.

The soul and pop singer famously escaped an abusive relationship with husband Ike, with whom she performed as a duo before their breakup in 1976.

The winner of a dozen Grammy awards was 83, and said to have passed away peacefully.

She refused to watch the biopic What’s Love Got To Do With It, claiming she was over that period in her life and did not need to be reminded of it.

Her career stretched over half a century, from 1957 to her last concert in 2009, although she worked on various projects until 2021.

News of her death was posted on her Instagram.

The statement read: “It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tina Turner. With her music and her boundless passion for life, she enchanted millions of fans around the world and inspired the stars of tomorrow.

“Today we say goodbye to a dear friend who leaves us all her greatest work: her music. All our heartfelt compassion goes out to her family. Tina, we will miss you dearly.”

What better way for Capital Records Executives of Tina Turner’s “Private Dancer” Album to promote the album than vilifying Tina Turner’s African-heritage popular music entrepreneur husband, Mr Ike Turner: a man credited with composing the first U.S. “Rock & Roll” hit song, “rocket 66.”

Vilifying African-heritage men has been popular by Caucasian heritage people since the days of slavery.
Whatever character defects Mr Tuner may have possessed, he strongly denied the catalogue of sexual and violent abuse, Tina Turner reported to interviewers whilst promoting the albums.

As a forty-year-old African American woman, Tina was persuaded that castigating Mr Ike Turner would be a great way of promoting the Private Dancer album.
Ms Tina Turner refused to view the film: “What Love Got to do with it,” which was based on her accusations against her Husband Mr Ike Turner.

Mr Ike Turner wrote a biography which detained his life and attitude as a wealthy and successful African-American rock & roll sensation.

He recounts having lots of girlfriends; but Mr Turner refutes the rape and violence accusation, made by Mrs Tina Turner.

Tina Turner accusation became a book, and then a film, and her alums as a solo artist become a huge commercial success.

Mr Ike Turner’s reputation never recovered.

Sexual accusation from women are always believed.
Moreover, Caucasian-people are willing to have and hold a low opinion of African-heritage men.

Tina Turner’s Private Dancer Album, would have been successful without vilifying her former husband, Mr Ike Turner.

Tina Turner’s 1980’s character assassination of Mr Ike Turner to sell her albums was cruel; highly exaggerated, and completely unnecessary.

However, for Caucasian people willing to believe the absolute worst of African-heritage men, Tina Turner has become a feminist icon.
