Jenny Mein Designs has produced a bone china tankard and a two handled Loving Mug to commemorate the Windrush Generation and their descendants

TO CELEBRATE the 72nd  anniversary of the Windrush Generation, Jenny Mein Designs has produced a bone china tankard and a two handled Loving Mug to commemorate the Windrush Generation and their descendants.  The Windrush commemorative china is manufactured in Stoke-on-Trent, England using traditional methods and is hand-gilded.

Jenny Mein is an artist and designer and the founder of Jenny Mein Designs, a UK online e-commerce shop, selling botanical bone china inspired by memories of the fruit and flowers from her childhood’s beautiful family garden on an 18th century sugar estate in Jamaica.

The china collections include the ‘Jamaican Ackee’ (the ackee is the national fruit of Jamaica), ‘Breadfruit’, the fruit from the breadfruit tree brought to the Caribbean in the 18th century by the British explorer Captain William Bligh of the mutiny on board HMS Bounty fame and Caribbean Garden.

Jenny Mein Designs are carefully created and are produced exclusively under patent and manufactured using traditional methods in Stoke-on-Trent, England the home of the British china industry.
