Man, 18, charged with murder after shooting teenager on e-scooter

A MAN has been charged with murder after shooting an 18-year-old riding on his e-scooter in North London.

Reagan Konin, 18, of Victoria Road, South Tottenham has been charged with murder, possession of a section 5 firearm; possession of an offensive weapon in a private place; possession with intent to supply class A drugs; and affray.

Following a police investigation and appeal, Konin was arrested in Southend, Essex on 8 July.

The victim, Andre Salmon, was riding an e-scooter in Stamford Road, Haringey before being struck by the drive-by shooter. 

He turned onto a road called Constable Crescent and crashed as he succumbed to being wounded.

Paramedics rushed to the scene but sadly the teenager was pronounced dead.

Konin is expected to appear in custody at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court today (July 10).
