A TEENAGER who was stabbed to death after a birthday party in north-west London has been named by police.

Claudyo Jauad Lafayett, 17, was attended to by paramedics after they were called to Granville Road in Brent on Friday 14 July. 

Tragically, the teenager was pronounced dead at the scene after being inflicted with a fatal knife to his abdomen, a post-mortem revealed. 

A 20-year-old woman was taken for treatment to her hand and has now been discharged.

A 17-year-old was also treated at the scene and is now in stable condition in hospital.

An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder, but has been released on bail. 

A further two 18-year-olds were arrested and released on bail also.

The Met have said the family are being supported by specialist officers. 

Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Jolley, who is leading the investigation, said: 

“Although we have arrested three people in connection with this murder, I am certain that there is more information that will help our investigation. I urge anyone who is yet to come forward to please speak with us.

“A birthday party has ended in tragedy, and a family has been left mourning the loss of a young man who had his whole life ahead of him.
