Let Mervelee Myers briefly say a heartfelt thank you to Garfield Robinson for taking me under his wings from the time we had a serious conversation at Rye Lane Chapel. Our meeting at South Norwood Library solidifies our partnership working on a personal and professional level. After the experiences of the past weeks, I must continue by saying the support am getting from The Blac Awards Team http://www.blac.org.uk and other members of the communities for my husband is helping me to restore my faith in humankind. No amount of words can share my pride and joy in knowing I am not forgotten. Watch this space as I am a writer, who has been writing for therapy since my father was stricken with Parkinson’s and it was the light went out. Still, I did not let the disabilities and poverty that changed the outcome of my life define me. Each time the stumbling blocks were put in my way, I pick myself up…

Mervelee Myers the Cultural Ambassador, Social Butterfly, Mental Health and SEND Advocate turn activist finally get the http://www.blac.org.uk and Garfield Robinson who I have known for as many years I have been going out to events connected to promoting British Values. I am positive Garfield and I linked Spiritually at Rye Lane Chapel and the RIH. As a writer am in this business to create the legacies in the words of Nelson Mandela “The Purpose of Freedom is to Create for Others”. I owe Garfield the honour of writing a review for his website. Just want him to know I will get around to writing his review ASAP. Big shout out to those who have stood with me and weathered the storms. For those who fell by the wayside. “Many Rivers to Cross…” But Mervelee Myers never learn to swim amongst many other phobias that were linked to my “Hidden Disabilities”. One of my saying is that SEND cannot always be seen with the “Naked Eyes”. With time I will get around to honouring each individuals and organisations that supported me along the years…
