GRACE VICTORY has thanked her followers on social media after coming out of an induced coma following the birth of her first child in December last year.

She updated her followers and said: “I’m still in ICU, but I’m doing well” and thanked them for the support she has received in a further tweet that read: “All your love is getting me through. Thank you x.”

Her most recent post, included a poignant shot of her new-born son’s feet followed with a heart emoji.

The influencer and plus-size blogger from High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire was taken into intensive care on Christmas Day after giving birth due to complications from contracting COVID-19 whilst pregnant.

On March 8 she posted on Twitter, “I’m awake” and later tweeted that “Baby boy is thriving at home x” after he was expected to be born in February.

Victory, also known as the internet’s big sister, joined YouTube in March 2011 and has amassed more than 221,000 subscribers with her videos about body image and her pregnancy journey.

Victory has received a flood of support since her family have shared her ordeal online with social commentator and podcaster Kelechi Okafor and Little Mix’s Leigh-Anne Pinnock all sharing their well-wishes.

In December her family said they were “truly overwhelmed” by the “amount of love” sent to Victory.
