This one-night-only show promises to take the audience on a vibrant journey through the sounds of reggae music, paying homage to the resilient pioneers who enriched the cultural tapestry of the United Kingdom.

Reggae Choir is a diverse ensemble, welcoming all who enjoy reggae music, carrying forward the legacy of the Windrush Generation’s cultural impact upon the British landscape. The choir proudly celebrates the female contributions and the descendants of the Windrush Generation, many of whom came to the United Kingdom as children in the 1960s.

Acknowledging that We Are Windrush takes place during Black History Month, the choir’s founder Fola Phillip, is an award-winning singer-songwriter, who is a descendant of those who came from the Windrush era.
